Year 2s’ Land Ahoy project went sailing on a rough and windy day this week.
After studying one of Van Gogh’s expressive seascapes, they experimented with similar colours and thickened paint using glue and sand. Mrs Baker felt quite seasick at one point with the swaying of some children as they splodged and smeared the wave effect. Beautiful colours emerged, sometimes completely by accident.
