Second Hand Uniform Shop
The committee run the second-hand uniform shop, accepting donations of good quality used uniforms and selling them onto Holmwood families from their onsite shop. They can also offer a 50/50 split of proceeds from sales of larger items like blazers and coats. The shop is open every Thursday from 8.15-9.15am and the committee also open a number of dates during the summer holidays to help families get ready for the new year.
Annual Social Events
The committee are always busy organising a range of events for the parents and children of the school, they host regular coffee and cake events to welcome new parents to the school as well as running some of the bigger social events enjoyed by the school family each year, below are some of the projects they run every year with some new ones planned for 2024.

New Volunteers are always welcome
The Friends of Holmwood House committee are always appreciative of help and have compiled a list of people who would be willing to help at events. If you would like to volunteer your services or find out more about what is involved as a committee member, please contact friends@holmwood.house
Our aim is to ensure that all parents and children are given as many opportunities as possible to meet one another socially and to be involved in the school events held each year, whilst raising funds for enrichment projects for our children.
Fundraising
The proceeds from the uniform shop and the fundraising done by the committee each year are all spend on enrichment projects for the children. The committee have funded items such as friendship benches throughout the grounds, science equipment, new play equipment in the playgrounds and they contribute to the Maths, Science and English weeks run by the school each year. This is all made possible by the support of the families of Holmwood and both the committee and the school thank you for your continued support.
