On Monday 31 January, the Holmwood House Chamber Choir participated in the Haileybury Choral Competition. As well as having had an absolutely fabulous day, a wonderful lunch and participating in a mass choral item alongside other schools, our choir’s performance of the Evening Prayer from Humperdinck’s opera Hansel and Gretel won the competition with the judge pronouncing it to have been extremely mature, musical and polished.
