On Saturday seven riders from Holmwood took part in an NSEA interschools showjumping competition at Beechwood equestrian centre. The children competed as individuals and teams and Holmwood had competitors jumping from cross poles to 75cm. We had a fantastic day and and results to match.
Otto R competing for the first time for Holmwood jumping a lovely clear round in the cross poles riding Jim. Bea A jumping in the cross poles, 40cm and 50 cm placing 6th in the 40cm with Prince Valentine. The 60cm team consisting of Annabel B, Millie S, Charlie P and Autumn K placed 2nd with Annabel B picking up a 6th individually. The 70cm team consisting of Annabel B, Millie S, Charlie P and Ottilie W jumped 4 clears to win the class with Charlie P taking 1st place individually and Ottilie W coming 3rd individually. Ottilie W then went on as an individual to compete in the 70-75 cm class finishing off Holmwood’s day with another win!
