Year 5 Clay Portraits

Year 5 used the medium of clay to create a portrait. and this week’s challenge was to colour it with glaze.

The challenge being that glaze requires 3 layers for the colour to be at its best and the colour does not show until it has been ‘fired’ in the kiln at an intense heat.
