Year 2’s ‘Friendship Friday‘ continues to be a fun filled day where the children get to reconnect in small friendship groups with each other ‘virtually’ but face to face. We meet on screen, share our favourite jokes, photos that remind us of happy times, work we are proud of and play fun numbers and sound games.
A couple of weeks ago we did a mini scavenger hunt, the children were sent off to find items beginning with the letter ‘g’ as our spellings that week focused on the hard and soft ‘g’. We found glasses, grapes, a glass dish and a grandad that kindly came to the screen to say hi!
Friendship Friday gives us a safe space to laugh, chat and remember we are all still here for one another and part of the Holmwood House family.
“It has been a pleasure sharing your laughter, seeing your smiles and getting to share happy memories with you all”
Spider webs were used in ancient times because they were believed to have antiseptic qualities that promoted healing.
