Reception brought Mother’s Day into school last Friday, as they invited their mothers in to have a glimpse into school life and take part in lots of fun activities with them. They had made some cupcakes which they then decorated together. They decorated some pretty plant pots and planted some herbs. They had their photos taken together and decorated photo frames to put it in. Finally they presented their mothers with a picture they had painted of them and a sentence of what makes them special. Everyone had lots of fun and the children loved showing off their classrooms and outdoor play area.
