What better way to have some half term messy fun than create your own magic potion! Just before half term pupils in the Prep school spent a lesson learning some autumnal and Halloween vocabulary in French. They were then set an optional challenge of making their very own potion complete with an antique ingredients label that they had to write all in French….don’t worry….no “chauves-souris” or “yeux de tritons” were harmed in the making of these potions magiques!
Ten show ups were awarded to each pupil who brought in their marvellous creations.
Not only was this some creative fun for the children, it was a subtle nod in preparation to Shakespeare week that we have just had.
