We had an amazing Wacky Hat Day in aid of Children in Need. Wacky hats were chosen to emphasise everyone’s individuality and differences. The fact that Children in Need day fell at the end of Anti Bullying Week was very apt and our Year 8 Anti-bullying Ambassadors delivered an inspiring “One Kind Word assembly. It was an amazing assembly which they presented to the whole school and left us thinking about some simple things that we can all do to kind to each other.
A special mention must go to Sadhika, who made cup cakes and sold them to her neighbours. Sadhika has raised £118 for Pudsey Children in Need and then donated £50 from the Diwali money that her grandparents gave her. So Children in Need got a grand total of £168.00. Well done Sadhika, what a brilliant achievement.
