Year 4s have settled in amazingly well, looking smart in their blazers and enjoying the challenges; especially making a mountain to investigate the flow of water. Year 5 have enjoyed meeting their class teachers and having their first tastes of the extended sports sessions that this year will bring. Year 6s feel at home already in the library block, getting to know their tutors and the freedom and responsibility of moving around the site following their timetable independently.
I hope you all had a wonderful summer break, I have heard from many of the pupils about their experiences and it is the family time together that they remember and speak to me about with fondness. I could not be prouder of the start of term, the smoothness of the transition from summer holiday mode into academic rigour is all thanks to our wonderful teachers – thank you all.
