The rain never stops us having fun at Nursery and we have had enjoying the different sensory sensations the weather has brought with it this week. We’ve been filling up buckets, collecting rain to water the plant and enjoying dancing in the rain – even some singing!
Babies
Babies have loved exploring rain this week, filling up their buckets with the rain dripping off the roof and feeling the rain on their skin. We have also added bandages into our role play where some of the children liked having these on.
Bluebells
This week we have been busy watering our plants that have grown in our garden. We have been exploring the compost in the tray. We also had fun climbing in the paddock and exploring shapes and numbers.
Poppies
We have enjoyed a whole range of activities and resources all led mainly by the children in Poppies this week. They have enjoyed making patterns with coloured pegs and enjoying the dinosaurs and the fossils. Poppies have explored the different sensory sensations of the different weathers such as walking bare feet on the grass in the sun and dancing in the rain.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
