Nursery News

Posted: 18th June 2021

There has been lots of exploring happening at Nursery this week.  We have had great fun climbing, building, drawing and fossil hunting.  We have been particularly fascinated by the butterflies and have really enjoyed some bird watching.

Babies

The butterflies have been a great source of interest this past week since they have emerged. Our babies have loved watching how they flutter around and move. When they were big enough and strong enough to fly, we released them out into the garden.

Bluebells

This week the Bluebells have enjoyed climbing in the paddock. We have also been exploring different ways of drawing by doing some upside down drawing. Well done to Bluebells who have also been exploring numbers and trying to match them.

Poppies

Wow, we have been busy this week in Poppies continuing to enjoy our thirty days wild activities whilst in the sunshine. These have included tree rubbing, bird spotting and constructing our own obstacles and even trying to make a boat using wood. We have also loved an array of tuff trays including playdough with shape cutters and rollers plus a fossil finding tray.
