Babies
Babies have loved exploring how to make their own bugs using Playdough and lolly sticks. We investigated shadows and our new babies have been settling in really well.
Bluebells
The Bluebells have enjoyed lots of activities with shapes this week including looking at them on the iPad. We have enjoyed puzzles and looking where to fit the pieces. We have shown interest in ICT toys and at snack time have been working on our self care skills like pouring our milk.
Poppies
Poppies have thoroughly been enjoying the large foam bricks outside to build their own arrangements and use them as stepping stones. The mixed weather has been a part of our activities this week, looking at shadows of objects and ourselves and some have made rain makers. We also enjoyed a wonderful aquarium tuff tray with coloured cooked spaghetti for texture, bowls to transfer objects and water plus sea creatures and rocks for imaginative play.
There has been lots of exploring taking place this week at Nursery, from exploring our own shadows to creating our own stepping stones the rainy weather hasn’t stopped us having lots of fun.
