Babies have enjoyed our first days of Spring with celebrating St David’s day with daffodil activities to watching our shadows out in the garden. Thursday was World Book Day where we dressed up and celebrated our love of books.
This week we have celebrated St David’s Day and have been painting with the leeks. We have also been enjoying a variety of books this week for World book day. The Bluebells have enjoyed making gingerbread men shapes from the play dough and have been talking about the gingerbread man story. We also enjoyed making stick man pictures with sticks.
Poppies have enjoyed a week of messy play activities. These have included a farmyard scene with lots of textures and colours and dinosaurs in jelly. We have been discussing Spring and the flowers that we will be planting soon. To celebrate St Davids day, we did some still life drawing of daffodils. We also celebrated World book day on Thursday with some dressing up and sharing our favourite stories.Categories: News Nursery
