Dear Parents
We are all very excited at the prospect of having the children back in school from Monday 8 March. This term has been hugely successful online, but challenging in many ways. We are keen to ensure the children’s return is a positive one and the staff will be working hard to prepare the classrooms and other areas for some real live learning.
I would appreciate it if you could all read the rather lengthy document attached to my last email which outlines our approach to re-opening. Much effort has gone into this and everyone’s understanding of the procedures will contribute to a smooth return.
I am delighted to inform you that our two Reception classes for September 2021 are nearly full and that a number of pupils will join other year groups in the new academic year in addition to a number of in-year joiners this year. With our expansion to 16, we hope to attract children into Year 7 as a brand new senior school option for the Colchester district. Please do encourage friends and family to come along to take a look at us as a potential senior school choice for their children.
