We have been talking to the children this week about staying safe online to coincide with Safer Internet Day on Tuesday. This topic is more relevant and important than ever with our children learning remotely and having daily access to computers and the internet. We are intending to deliver a lesson to the pupils after half term, following guidance from Essex Education Safeguarding and Wellbeing, but in the meantime you might want to have a look at these resources to have your own conversations at home about internet safety: click here
The National Online Safety Group have developed a free Online Safety App for parents & teachers which gives up-to-date information about the latest apps, games, devices and more:
Download for Apple: hubs.ly/H0BwQjL0
Download for Android: hubs.ly/H0Bx0tp0
They also provide some age-relevant online safety courses and resources for parents that may be of interest. They are free and you just have to register to access them: click here
