Quiz Club is a national inter-schools competition which aims to boost confidence, broaden knowledge and encourage great team work. All quizzes are being undertaken online, and parents will be able to watch the children compete live online.
We are looking for pupils in Years 5 and 6 to take part in the General Knowledge Quiz which is due to take place on Thursday 18 March. If your child would like to be involved and considered for their year group’s team, they need to email their name to lal@holmwood.house by Monday 25 January.
Teams will be decided by the results of a virtual selection practice quiz, taking place for Year 5 on Wednesday 27 January at 5pm and for Years 6 on Friday 29 January at 5pm. All children who wish to participate will be invited to a Google Classroom for their year group and the selection quiz will take place on a google meet. This should last around half an hour.
The selected teams will then have the opportunity to meet weekly to practice for the upcoming competition. If you have any questions or would like some more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
