Year 6 completed a dissection where they got hands on with the parts of the circulatory and respiratory system. Pupils gave mixed reactions to the various parts of the systems and enjoyed (ish) feeling the textures of the various organs. They then watched how to dissect a heart, identifying the parts as they went and trying to find the route the blood takes. Truly excellent to see the pupils faces lit up with excitement… although some a little pale faced!
