This week was our final swimming session of the term and was a ‘fun swim’ where the children were able to use some of the new inflatables which was great fun!
In maths we have been investigating 3D shapes, learning that 3D shapes have faces, some of which are all the same as with a cube or can be different as with a pyramid. We printed with a variety of shapes to see how many different 2D shapes we could find. We also constructed using wooden blocks and cut out various Christmas characters and made them into cones which are now sitting around our class Christmas tree.
Santa’s Workshop appeared in our outdoor area and letters were soon being written to Santa while helpful and enthusiastic elves practised their present wrapping skills!
