Year 3 Lockdown Letters

As part of our English lessons the Year 3 children have learned how to set out and write informal letters.

We then set them the challenge of writing a letter to a family member or friend to brighten up their day. We explained how sending a letter to someone we care about, especially during Lockdown is a very special gesture.

The children loved this task and put a huge amount of effort and care into their letters. They were very proud of their achievements.

The letters have been sent off and some lucky Year 3s have already had  replies arriving through their letterboxes!
