As part of our Pastoral Program children have been learning about tree Dressing. Tree Dressing happens in the first week of December, it is based on many old customs from all over the world. Trees have long been celebrated for their spiritual significance. Many cultures tie strips of cloth or yarn to a tree. The act of tree dressing celebrates the unique role that trees have in our world. It is a powerful way of expressing our relationship with trees.
Year 3 enjoyed using wool to dress the trees in the willow dome.
