Babies have enjoyed exploring our Remembrance day tuff tray looking at the colour red. We added play dough so they could experience malleable material in order to strengthen their hands as a pre writing skill. We have also enjoyed our themed days to raise money for children in need.
This week we have supported children in need in various ways. We have matched the coloured spots on pegs to pudsey’s spots practising our pincer grip. We have used yellow sand to decorate a pudsey picture and have worked on our cutting skills freeing the pudsey bear from the cellotape.
What an exciting week we have had in Poppies. We have loved doing creative activities around children in need and have loved seeing lots of children taking part in the theme each day. We are also talking about some history and why we have Remembrance Day. The children have been talking a lot about what they have been doing at home such as enjoying fireworks with their families . Thank you to those who have uploaded pictures of what the children do at home on Tapestry. Keep them coming please. Enjoy your weekend.
