The children listened to the story ‘Leaf Man’ in Literacy and then created their own leaf men characters.
During Outdoor Learning they enjoyed comparing different trees and looking for similarities and differences in their shape, leaves and bark patterns as well as noticing if they were evergreen or deciduous. They then reflected on which was their favourite tree and took a bark rubbing of their favourite tree.
