Year 3 Rocks!
This week Year 3 have been having fun making edible models of rocks and creating their own fossils as part of their Extreme Earth topic.
Year 4 make ice-cream
The Year 4 scientists this week have investigated the effect of salt on ice temperature then used this idea to make ice cream. Yum!
Year 5 STEM
Year 5 have been learning the safe use of tools and working out what they can achieve by using them with the materials they chose, to create their Land Yachts.
Year 7 work on Energy
Year 7 have been working out the energy per gram (J/g) of biscuits! Which will be the most calorific? They have been analysing the make up of the biscuits and hypothesising which will transfer the most chemical energy to heat energy in water.
