Every class in the school has been following a Pastoral Programme focussed on bringing the school community back
together following the disruption to schooling caused by the Covid-19 Lockdown. The ideas in the programme are based on Place2Be’s returning to school after Covid-19 resources, which promotes emotional wellbeing, resilience and recovery.
To promote connectedness, pupils from Reception to Year 4 were asked to write ideas on to a Gingerbread man shape around what they enjoyed about being together again at school and what they missed when they were apart. These can be seen above and hanging in some of the classrooms.
