At the end of another frantic week, the children continue to bubble with enthusiasm and effervesce with energy! Last week’s Pre-Prep performances were outstanding and tonight’s Prep school Christmas Concert promises to raise our spirits further.
Last Friday’s Big Night In! in boarding was an enormous success, made even more so by the excellent opportunities for pupils from across the five year groups involved to play together and enjoy the range of fun-filled frolics on offer! We are very lucky to have such dedicated boarding staff to create the special events for our children that they do. With endless creativity, they seem to be able to hit the spot with our youngsters who respond in such a mature and collegiate manner. My thanks to Mrs De Voy and her inimitable boarding team!
You will read further in this newsletter about a talk given by a barrister, the Pre-Prep community event, badges and awards, the times tables challenge, the Year 8s’ local restaurant outing, work in geography and so on. It has truly been another action-packed week!
We are looking forward to all that the final week of term brings! Parties, carols, assemblies, farewell to the Shadows, Christmas Jumper Design Competition winners revealed; the list is endless. But will Father Christmas visit us this year….?
With best wishes
