Babies
Wow, what a great start we have had back at nursery. We have welcomed so many new families and welcomed back older friends too. Everyone has done so well with settling in. They have enjoyed lots of singing with musical instruments, the balls in the garden and the bubbles as well as water play to cool us off on the very hot days. The children have selected paints and produced some lovely pieces of art, have been practising their circles with crayons and have enjoyed glitter and sand play.
Bluebells
The Bluebells have had lots of fun threading and making bracelets. We have also been doing all sorts of mark making and have enjoyed using the whiteboards and pens. We found a grasshopper in the garden and were very interested in picking him up but were being very gentle.
Poppies
Poppies have settled back into nursery really well after our summer break. The children have really enjoyed getting to know new friends and have enjoyed doing some amazing art work to display. As the weather has been so lovely we have spent lots of time outside and have especially enjoyed water play this week. We have been bathing the babies, fishing for ducks and really loved predicting if different objects we found in the garden would sink or float.
