Year 2 made a Wormery!

This week, Year 2 has been finding out about how some creatures are adapted to living underground. The highlight was the creation of a wormery by Mrs Watkins! The children look forward to finding out more about worms by making observations of them in their home.

Fun in the Science Lab

Hurrah – it’s fantastic to be able to actually get ‘hands on’ in the lab. Year 8 have been looking into the reactivity series this week and are really enjoying being back in the lab.

Chocolate Challenge

In Year 5 we are learning about the rainforests of the world and the history of chocolate  We then used our persuasive writing skills and are creating advertising campaigns for our own chocolate bars. We have started designing and making our new chocolate bars with a range of ingredients and even designing packaging too.
