Activities – Airfix

With STEM week approaching, it is important to remember that ‘thinking outside the box’ is required of Holmwood pupils daily. This is demonstrated during the Airfix activity. Pupils have followed instructions, struggled and found answers to build tanks, planes and the Titanic. Outstandingly good fun and great demonstrations of independence. Well done!

Children in Need 2020

We all wore alternative ties to support Children in Need this year. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and some very creative ties. Pre-Reception also joined in with their crazy socks.  

FOHH Exercise Challenge

Thank you to everyone that has taken part in our FOHH 99th Birthday Exercise Challenge. We have been absolutely thrilled with your videos and photos, which we will be sharing very soon. Everyone that has taken part will be receiving a certificate and medal soon.

Pupil Achievements

Pre-Prep Awards Golden Awards are made weekly to individuals in each class based on the Golden Rules. The child receives a Golden Award badge to wear for the week. Year 5 – Journeys

In Year 5, we have started our new Global Studies theme of ‘Journeys’ by comparing modern day maps with a map of 1675. Our curious history detectives recognised many familiar place names.

Year 4 Ocean Research
