Year 5 Viking Jewellery

In Global Studies lessons this week we have been making some Viking Bling! We were learning about the importance of jewellery to the Vikings and then created our own brooches.

Year 3 WOW Walk

This week in Outdoor Learning Year 2 explored their environment using their senses of sight, hearing, touch and smell. They chose one thing for each sense that really made them think “Wow” and shared their pictures to inspire wonder in their friends!

Year 2 Towering Ahead

In Global Studies and Science Year 2 were challenged to investigate whether they could make a tower with just sheets of A4 paper. No sellotape, scissors or glue allowed! The results were amazing. Some of the towers were taller than the children themselves!

Year 1 were asked to spend some time in their garden or to go on a walk and collect some interesting natural objects. They then used string to tie them onto a large stick to create a natural mobile.
