Year 3 Outdoor Learning

To consolidate their Global Studies work about Divalli, as part of their Outdoor Learning, the Children in Year 3 were asked to create large Rangoli patterns using where possible natural materials. The children were extremely creative and resourceful using natural materials as well as chalk, paint and other assorted craft materials.

Year 2 Maths

In maths this week, the Year 2 children have been hard at work learning about 2D shapes. We have been counting sides and vertices, looking for symmetry, sorting and making patterns. Everyone has been so enthusiastic and enjoyed all the practical activities.

Year 1 – Town Mouse & Country Mouse

In Art, the children drew a picture of their house, and then painted it. We read Town Mouse and Country Mouse in Literacy and discussed the differences between the town and the country in Global Studies. They wrote about their house and the area in which they live for English.
