Year 3 Art

Year 3 art considered the Tsunami. The wave that was created used a stencil. In Jackson Pollock style, they splattered wet paint on dry paper for the sky and wet paint onto wet paper for the wave. The difference in the effect was enjoyed by all. See more photos in our Photo Gallery.

Year 5 have investigated and experimented with the properties of paper. Now they are being challenged to make the paper as strong as possible whilst thinking about the forces acting on it.

Year 2 Art – Seascapes

Year 2s’ Land Ahoy project went sailing on a rough and windy day this week. After studying one of Van Gogh’s expressive seascapes, they experimented with similar colours and thickened paint using glue and sand. Musical Theatre
