Exercise Challenge – Year 3

In Year Three we set the children the challenge of getting outside and doing some exercise in the fresh air. The children have risen fantastically to the challenge and have been on runs, bike rides, long walks and had fun playing in the garden. Well done Year 3 we are very proud of you.

Year 3 Art – Matisse

In Art this week Year 3 looked at the work of Henri Matisse, specifically his piece called Icarus. The children created their own pieces of artwork in the style of Matisse’s Icarus using the idea of paper templates and stencilling. I’m sure you will agree they all created stunning masterpieces!

Romeo, Juliet and Year 7

This term we have been studying Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Year 7 were challenged with researching key information and facts about William Shakespeare, along with the play itself.
