Huge congratulations to ten of our pupils who entered the UK Mathematics Trust Under 13 Maths Challenge, run by the University of Leeds. All pupils in Year 5-8 sat internal qualifying papers and ten pupils were chosen to represent Holmwood in the competition. All of them were placed in the top 40% of participants from across the country and two, Harshvardhan and Jesse who are both only 10 years old, received Gold Awards and have qualified for the next round – a fabulous achievement!
