Year 3 have been experimenting with a Brusho ink ‘wash’ effect to create the backgrounds, and the body of the volcano was made with a tissue paper collage.
To enhance this mixed media composition, we spent time experimenting with both paint and collage, to choose their favourite method in order to make their volcano appear to be erupting.
They were all very pleased with the final result.
