Year 3

Year 3 have been busy focusing on poetry in our English lessons. We reflected on our unique experiences of Lockdown and then wrote some fantastic poems to record this historical time in our lives. Here are just a few from our talented poets!

Year 2

This week the children in Year 2 have been enjoying learning about traditional outdoor games. Our classmates at home have been researching and playing games their mums and dads used to play, while at school we have been having fun with socially distanced games in the sunshine!

Year 1 – Outdoor Learning

Outdoor LearningDuring outdoor learning this week, Year 1 used sticks to create a picture frame which they then filled with all sorts of natural materials to create a rustic picture or pattern. See more pictures in our Photo Gallery.

Year 3 – Cooking

Year 3 have introduced a weekly cookery session, and the results of the first week’s bread challenge were fantastic, so well done everyone! Year 8 French

Fun French – Year 8 Get Creative! This week 8X have embraced their creative skills and have enjoyed being a bit more “hands on” in their lessons. PE

This weeks PE lessons were all about how far you can run in your 30 minute or 60 minute lesson. These photos are from James B and Tom B, who managed an impressive 6 kilometres in the pouring rain.
