Angela has taught at Holmwood House since January 2024. Angela came to us with a wealth of secondary school and GCSE teaching experience, with a background as a geography and science teacher. She also has experience working in the City and running her own business. She holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from Christ Church, University of Oxford, specialising in Climate Change and Variability and the Geopolitical History of South and Southern Africa. She gained her PGCE with QTS in 2019 for Geography.
Recently, Angela has been appointed as the Director of Enrichment at Holmwood House School. Her appointment reflects our commitment to a vibrant wider curriculum that fosters essential life skills. Angela’s diverse interests highlight this commitment: she participated in competitive rowing at Christ Church, Oxford; achieved “Good for Age” qualifications for both the Boston and London Marathons; and has a lifelong passion for music, having been part of the Essex Youth Orchestra as a teenager and performing with the Colchester Festival Orchestra.
