Our annual Year 8 Soiree was held on Wednesday evening in the school grounds to celebrate their time at Holmwood. Everyone dressed in formal evening attire and enjoyed a drinks reception, followed by a 3 course sit down dinner:
Melon with Fruit Coulis
Lemon and Rosemary Chicken Supreme
Or
Vegetable Tartlet
Served with Mint Crushed Potatoes and a Medley of Vegetables
Morello Cherry Tart, Served with Pouring Cream
Speeches and dancing to live music followed and as part of the evening the children enjoyed watching a film of their time throughout Holmwood, although rather emotional the children enjoyed watching their history at the school.
