Fantastic Finale to Paws, Claws and Whiskers
Year 1 had a fantastic finale to their Paws, Claws and Whiskers theme and concluded their learning with a trip to Colchester Zoo. The visit was a fun and engaging way to conclude this term’s theme and included a fascinating session where they learnt about how colour and camouflage is used in nature and the children asked some excellent questions. They then spent some time looking around the zoo, focussing on animals most relevant to their learning this term.
