Holmwood Highlights

Dear All It was great to see so many of you on today’s Zoom calls to catch up. Thank you for your ongoing feedback and the support you are giving both the children and the school. I shared the video of Amanda Golman’s amazing presidential inauguration poem with the Prep School children earlier this week.  If you didn’t catch it, do sit...

Babies  Our babies have really enjoyed exploring the outdoors this week. We have been digging for worms, investigating our herbs in the sensory garden and making mud pies in our mud kitchen. Year 2 Maths This week and last week Year 2 have been working very hard on doubling multiplication and division in Maths. Global Studies In Global studies this week Year 3 were learning about the Moon Festival. Lanterns play a big part in this celebration. As part of this lesson the children made their own lanterns. Outdoor Learning The Year 3 children went on a Senses Scavenger hunt, using their senses to find objects to fit the criteria.

Our busy scientists have been making a mucky model of the digestive system today. Can you guess what each bit represents?
